The word Mistral, from Latin magistralis ventus, means literally ‘master wind’, and is a strong, cold and dry wind that blows from France to the Mediterranean.

A Mistral Spirit is a term I’ve come up with to represent a spirit with a powerful passion for adventure and an undying strength to follow that passion. This blog is the outlet for my personal Mistral Spirit, and my hope is to inspire you to follow where your Mistral Spirit takes you.

my math notes notebook compared to my math worked notebook. know who you are and what you want. Writing a blog post about this because it’s the biggest takeaway I’ve had from my first week on campus at uni. ☺️ In my case, I like being social, going out, having fun. But at the end of the day (or at some point in the week), I need time to get back to my roots. Coffee shops, tea, yoga, walks by the lake (which I’m so fortunate to live 2 minutes away from now), journaling and relaxed reading sessions with music. I’m a bit of a romantic at heart. you guys, university is the best thing no one tells you about. Okay, maybe they do. But not enough. I have so much work to do and it’s so busy but I’m falling in love with my campus and university more and more each day. helloo world! I got back from my month-long solo trip to visit family in romania a couple days ago and I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. It’s been an absolutely astonishing past month for me. I had a blast spending time with my (apparently pretty big) family, making new friends, and enjoying new experiences. There’s quite a lot of projects I’m eager to get started on and it’s funny because past me would have been overwhelmed at the sheer amount of tasks and ideas in front of me. But a little escape into another culture, getting by in a myriad of situations with only what I could fit inside a suitcase, and three weeks spent living each day as it comes was good for me. The blog is one thing I really want to update with posts and stories ASAP. .
